How do you count “site visitors”?
We assign an anonymous ID to each browser the first time it lands on your site. That ID counts as one visitor for the current billing month, and any additional visits from the same browser in that month are not counted again. On the first day of the next billing month, our visitor counter resets; so if that same browser returns, it is counted as a new visitor for the new period. Visits from a different browser/device, or from a browser that has cleared its website data such as local storage or cookies will receive a new ID and are counted as new visitors.
Do I need to enter a credit card to start the 30‑day free trial?
Free plan: No payment details are required. Pro and Custom plans: A credit card is collected at sign‑up, but not charged until day 30. You can cancel online at any time during the trial.
What happens at the end of the free trial?
If you haven’t canceled, your subscription activates automatically and we bill the monthly (or annual) fee for the plan you selected. All your data and settings remain intact, no extra work required.
What if I exceed my visitor limit mid‑month?
For paid plans, we automatically bill the lower amount between (a) the next tier’s base price and (b) your current base price plus the per‑1K overage. Annual customers pay only the discounted difference. No surprise spikes. If you’re on the Free plan and you surpass your monthly visitors quota, your web agent will stop serving until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a paid plan.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Absolutely. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the next renewal to avoid service disruption.
How does the 20% annual discount work?
Select “Annual” at checkout, pay 12 months upfront, and receive about 20% off every base fee and overage for the year. Your renewal price is locked for the full term.
Are there any setup or implementation fees?
No. All plans include self‑serve onboarding and detailed implementation guides at no additional cost. Pro plans include email support and Custom plans include a dedicated account manager.
What does unlimited user conversations really mean?
We allow as many chatbot conversations as your business normally needs, subject to our Fair Use Policy. However, if we detect automated scripts, disproportionately high traffic from a small number of users, or other behavior indicative of abuse or denial‑of‑service activities, we may throttle or suspend the affected account to protect the service for everyone.
What type of support is included?
We offer different levels of support based on your plan: Pro plans include prompt email support for any product, implementation, or billing questions at support@bigsur.ai; Custom plans receive everything offered in Pro, plus a dedicated account manager and a private Slack channel for quick issue resolution; the Free plan provides access to our self‑help resources and documentation.
Does one subscription cover multiple domains?
The Free and Pro plans are per domain. Custom plans can include multiple domains. Contact us for a quote.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can easily manage or cancel your subscription anytime through our customer portal at https://hub.bigsur.ai.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards. For larger custom contracts, we also support ACH or wire transfers.
